The 53rd Berlin International Film Festival

that will be held from February 6 - 16, 2003

in the Panorama Program

The Panorama is the part of the official program which is, successfully, dedicated primarily to art-house films and films directed by their authors.

Originally an informational series of the Competition, it was developed into an independent program direction by the then Festival director Wolf Donner. Under the direction of his successor Moritz de Hadeln, the program was reconstructed and developed into today's Panorama by Manfred Salzgeber. Since 1992, Wieland Speck has been responsible for this section of the program.
